Anagennisi Germasogeias

Anagennisi Germasogias was established in 1956 initially like most of the other clubs in Cyprus as a cultural centte and slowly-slowly and year by year evolved as a sports club too. First sport which was launched was football at the mid 60's and around 35 years after that the Basketball was arise.

Anagennisi is among the teams which have their own court and even though is not big it contains around 1000 seated fans.

The team of Anagennisi Germasogias played mainly in the secodn division with a short break of a couple of season at the mid 90's all the rest of the years since its establishement and particiaption in the Baskettball leagues (mid 80's) the team from the beatifull suburb area of Limassol is among the protagontists of the second division.

The first champion trophy that the team won was back in the season 2011-2012 when the team beat the two rivals (APOP Paphou and EN Paralimni) and at the end won the championship.

After that the winning spirit changed totally and the team won another four titles the last four season while the team was promoted for the first time ever in the First Division (2015-2016). The best moment in its history!
