The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of APOP (1-1) in Larnaca on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by AEK (3-0) 106-77. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. AEK looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by APOP's players. It was a good game for American guard Shane Gibson  who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 7 rebounds. The former international guard Iakovos Panteli (187-85) contributed with 6 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists for the winners. American guard James Milliken answered with 19 points and 5 assists for APOP. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AEK are looking forward to face Etha (#5) in Nicosia in the next round. APOP will play at home against Apoel and it may be a tough game between close rivals. 
The game in Limassol was also worth to mention about. Keravnos (2-1) played at the court of Apollon(0-2). Keravnos managed to secure a 7-point victory 75-68. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Anthony King who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Kenny Barker helped adding 11 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Adonis Filer  with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Keravnos will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Apollon will play on the road against Enosis (#7) in Paralimni and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last game of round 3 winless Enosis was beaten by Apoel on the road 65-59. 
The most impressive performance of 3rd round was 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks by Michale Kyser of Enosis.

Apoel - Enosis 65-59

No shocking result in a game when Apoel (2-1) beat Enosis (0-3) in Nicosia 65-59. American players dominated the game. It was a great evening for guard Evrik Gary  who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward John Fields  helped adding 14 points and 14 rebounds. Gary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was forward Michale Kyser with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Jeremy Major  scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Apoel will play against APOP (#4) in Paphou in the next round. Enosis will play at home against Apollon and hopes to get finally their first victory.
