Semi-Finals: Quick outlook of how APOEL and AEK kicked out Keravnos and Apollon respectively

APOEL face no problem to disqualified (once again) the full of injuries, team of Keravnos Strovolou after ending up this semi-finals with a 3-1 victories. Keravnos was able to beat only the first game with 76-71 with Ronald Ross doing awesome staf in the court with his 26 points and 9 rebounds followed by Stylianoy who chpeed 13 points and 7 rebounds. APOEL had in a terrble night the Nigierina center Eziukwu who scored just 12 points without opponents as Keravnos had SMotrycz injured, and Barker in a very bad shape while Coach Livadiotis use only 8 players. On the other hand, APOEL never got the points expected by Heath, while Ramsey was also in a bad shape..

From that game onwards things changed totally as Ross was all alone....

With the series being to 1-0, Keravnos traveled to APOEL's home court to play against all odds as, Coach Livadiotis played this time with 7 players as other than Smotrycz and with Barker on a continouous downgrade of his performance, while APOEL was ready and kciking. With Eziukwu dominating at both edges and Heath scoring from allover with the assistance of Pantouris and Biggs, APOEL had no problem to balance the series to 1-1 with a sharp 83-71 victory getting all the energy and passion from its home court.

The third game was the most decisive one as Keravnos host it at the 10th of April and everybody thought that this would have been the new start, but they were all wrong.... Ronald Ross was not abel to produce as wanted as the defense by Vovoras was totally based on Ross, whule Neophytou reamained pointless and eh same with Simon Michael, so APOEL with Eziukwu's top performing game with 28 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and three block shots, won the game at the end with 77-79, at the 12th of April and actually stopped the dreams of Strovolos team for somehting better than the previous seasons.

The momentum and the feelings went to APOEL's home court which actually end up the series, two days after and on the 13th of April with a solid win of 72-60 celbrating the particiaption in the finals against allmighty AEK Larnakas. Heath this time was the MVP of the game with his 21 points whiel Eziukwu dominated in the rebounding area with his 15 rebounds and 12 points plus another 3 steals and 2 block shots!! Ross remain at the 7 points, and only Stylianou tried for the best but he was all alone... APOEL was heading to the finals with the break in Strovolos and with 3-1 was facing AEK Larnakas

The other series between AEK Larnakas and Apollon Limassol was not at all serious as the two temas had a humangous difference of rosters and coaching availlabiltiy. The easy 3-0 came easier than thought, with the epitome being the last game where AEK thrashed Apollon Limassol with 44 points!! 97-53 proving that there is a big difference between these two teams..McFadden and Duren were the top performers in all three games after scoring 51 and 43 points respectivly in the three games while on the other hand the total chaos!! AEK went easily to the finals after eliminating Apollon with 3-0 with 3 easy afternoons...

About the last game - As expected AEK had spent another easy afternoon after thrashing Apollon Limassol with 44 points difference!! The final score was 97-53 and there is no need for many details in regards to the details of the game. The periods were 24-13, 47-28, 76-41 and the final 97-53. Five players on behalf of the home team finish the game with double digits with Duren being once more the top scorer with 19 points followed by McFadden who scored 15 points with 8 assists, Brezec had 12 points and 7 rebounds, Bowman had 12 points and 7 rebounds too, and Palalas had 10 points. On the other hand, Coach Yiannaras team was a total disaster with Appleby scoring 14 points while no other player had double digits..
